About the SODIC Charity Run:
The SODIC Charity Run returns in less than two months, at a brand new destination: SODIC East! Organised by The TriFactory, the SODIC Charity Run will feature two exciting race formats: a 5K Race and 21K Relay Run, to be completed by teams of 2, 3, or 4 runners.
This is more than just a race—it's a charity event with a purpose. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Egyptian Autistic Society, supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and promoting awareness. Run to Make an Impact and be part of a meaningful cause.

SODIC East is a full-fledged world-class destination in East Cairo, located between two of Cairo’s main throughways: the Cairo-Suez and Cairo-Ismailia roads. It is directly adjacent to Al Shorouk City and close to the New Administrative Capital. SODIC East is master-planned by the renowned Massachusetts-based Sasaki, boasting over 84% open and green spaces. Parceled into neighborhoods, homes are designed around outdoor living, fostering a true sense of community while benefiting from the extensive range of amenities offered within the larger development.
5K Race
5,000m road running race, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirt, and premium race medal at the Finish Line.
21K Relay Race
Relay teams of 2, 3, or 4, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirt, and premium race medal at the Finish Line.
5,000m road running race, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirt, and premium race medal at the Finish Line.
21K Relay Race
Relay teams of 2, 3, or 4, professionally timed using the MyLaps Timing System. Participants receive race number, race t-shirt, and premium race medal at the Finish Line.
The SODIC Charity Run is open to all runners, regardless of ability. There is no entrance criteria or qualification necessary for registration. The minimum age for every participants, whether in the 5K or 21K Relay, is 8 years old. Age is calculated according to year of birth.
Friday, April 11th - RACE DAY
7:00 am - 7:45 am: Arrival & Race Number Collection at SODIC East Sports Club
7:45 am: Warm-Up and Final Announcements. Runners head to the Start Line.
8:00 am: 21K Relay & 5K Races begin
10:30 am: Awards Ceremony for 21K Relay & 5K Races
7:45 am: Warm-Up and Final Announcements. Runners head to the Start Line.

Every SODIC Charity Run participant receives a finisher’s medal upon successful completion of their distance. Rankings will be organised in overall and age group categories. Overall winners (top three males and top three females in the 5K and top three male, female, and mixed teams in the 21K Relay) will receive special prizes on the podium.
All runners will receive their Race Numbers on the day of the race.
Race Medals are collected by every runner after they cross the Finish Line.
All 21K Relay & 5K runners will receive their Race T-Shirt following completion of their race. T-Shirts should be collected from the check-in booths at the Event Venue.

Once your payment is successfully processed, you'll receive an instant confirmation of your registration.

1. Payment of tickets can be made online.
2. Ticket Changes: Ticket holders may change their race choice before the General Registration Deadline by canceling the ticket and purchasing a new one. In this case, the new ticket will be purchased at the price point valid at the new date of purchase. If the new date of purchase falls under a new ticketing phase, then ticket buyers will not benefit from the lower price they had paid during an earlier ticket phase.
3. Ticket Cancellation: Ticket holders can cancel their tickets before the General Registration Deadline and receive the full amount paid as credit in their electronic wallet, to be used for future purchases. For a step-by-step guide on how to cancel your ticket, please visit our FAQs here.
4. Following the General Registration Deadline, no changes or cancellations will be possible, regardless of personal or medical circumstances, including COVID-19 or otherwise. A full refund will only be allowed in the event that a government-declared lockdown is enforced and the race is cancelled or postponed.
5. Tickets cannot be transferred/resold to other participants under any circumstances. At the Expo/Race Pack Pick-Up, participants must present a valid photo ID that matches their ticket, in order to receive their Race Pack Pick-Up.
6. Running on behalf of someone else or sneaking into the race without a ticket will result in a permanent ban from The TriFactory events.
7. Ticket fees do not include Value Added Tax (14% VAT).
8. Ticket fees do not include accommodation or transportation.
